Imagine an event like the Public Broadcasting System's "Antiques Roadshow" that doesn't have long lines -- and where you are served an elegant dinner in one of the region's most renowned event venues.

That's the idea of A Very Special Evening of Antiques.
Click the above image or here to download ticket order forms. Or call the Society at 856-964-3333.

Enjoy a stimulating evening among things as historic as they are valuable, bring any single antique you can carry to be appraised, watch and take part in an antiques auction, and browse antiques for sale.

Support the Camden County Historical Society on Friday, November 7, 2003, by joining us at the Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, New Jersey, for what promises to be one of the year's most-talked-about evenings. The event is open to all on a first-come, first-serve ticket purchase basis.

The antique appraisals will be done by professionals from Audubon Auctioneers.

Dinner to Honor Haddonfield's Richard H. Hineline
A Very Special Evening of Antiques dinner at Tavistock will also be an event honoring Richard H. Hineline

for his long and generous service to the Camden County Historical Society.

Mr. Hineline recently retired after sitting as a member of the Society's Board of Trustees for 42 years. He also served as president and a patron, benefactor, friend and valued adviser of our organization for all those years.

He is the former president of Camden Lime Company, a business long owned by his family; former chairman of the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission during the Nation's Bicentennial Celebration; and a well-known supporter of numerous charitable concerns throughout southern New Jersey.

Menu for Dinner and Related Event
Since no event is complete without tidbits and snacks designed to whet the appetite, we're offering a full selection of
butlered hors d'oeuvres: Bruschetta Toast; Quiche a la Maison; Savory Rosemary Ham Croquettes; Skewered Melon Balls with Banana Rum Sauce; Curry Deviled Eggs; Chicken Salad with Toasted Walnuts on Melba Rounds; Parmesan and Herb Cheese Sticks; Assorted Pastry Covered Delights; Indonesian Beef Satay; Sausage en Croute; Smoked Salmon Eclairs; Focaccia Triangles; Crabmeat Balls with Lemon Caper Mayonnaise; Southwestern Beef Tartlettes; Crostini Romano

Tavistock prides itself on serving haute cuisine carefully prepared by their own chefs on the premises, using only the freshest foods cooked and served to order. They will be providing the following dinner menu:

Spring Mix Salad with Dried Cranberries and Toasted Pecans in a Balsamic Vinaigrette; Duo Plate of Roast Tenderloin of Beef "Chateaubriand" with Grilled Shiitake Mushrooms in a Cabernet Demi-glace and Grilled Breast of Chicken with Winter Squash; Chef's Vegetable du Jour; Risotto; Hot Rolls with Creamery Butter and Margarine.

Dessert Finale
In the best tradition of the Grand Finale, dessert will consist of Tavistock's famous Sundae Bar, featuring an assortment of ice creams and toppings -- including Bananas Foster.
