LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Play a Direct Role in Preserving History

The Society's library holds three centuries of historical materials.
|
The Camden County Historical Society, home of the area's largest archive of local historical materials, is seeking volunteers to help it maintain its collections. We need individuals who are knowledgable about and interested in historical research, genealogical research, cemetery records and related resources. Volunteer duties also include organizing library displays, aiding library patrons and other general library activities.
Near Collingswood
The library is located in the Boyer Building of the Camden County Historical Society complex on the eastern edge of Parkside, the city's most stable neighborhood. Located just across Route 130 from Collingswood, we are easy to find. Drive Haddon Avenue along the front of historic Harleigh Cemetery, turn right on Vesper Ave. at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, go three short blocks and turn left on Park Blvd. Our complex of red brick buildings is on the right, directly next to the tennis courts.
