CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF THE RCA "NIPPER" BUILDING
July 12 Event to be Held in Victor's Pub on Ground Floor

CAMDEN, N.J. -- The Camden County Historical Society celebrates 100 years of the RCA "Nipper" Building on Sunday, July 12, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at The Victor's Pub. The Pub is located on the ground floor of the "Nipper Building," also known as RCA building 17.

The 'Nipper' building has stood as a major landmark in the center of downtown Camden for 100 years. It was once part of the sprawling RCA Victor complex. (See larger photo). ONLY 200 TICKETS will be sold for this historic July 12 event. Use PayPal below to purchase yours now.

The stylish Victor's Pub at 1 Market Street on the Camden Waterfront sets the stage for an afternoon of good food, good drink, history and nostalgia. Located on the first floor of the original "Nipper" Building, the restaurant offers free, secure parking and is handicapped accessible. Its large parking lot (see parking lot photo) is located directly across the street from its front door.

There's something for everyone, whether you're an RCA retiree, antique phonograph or radio enthusiast, history buff, or one of countless South Jersey residents for whom the glowing "Nipper" windows have always been a symbol of home.

> Listen to original Victor recordings, from opera to the Jazz- and Big-Band Eras through the Elvis years on a state-of-the-art sound system.

> Enjoy live demonstrations of original Victor Talking Machines and Victrolas from the Society's museum.

> Artifacts from the original Victor Talking Machine Company and RCA will be on display.

> Only 200 tickets will be sold for this special fundraising event. All proceeds help the Camden County Historical Society preserve the rich, diverse history of Camden County for future generations.
